Product match
Stock code, barcode and channel code sit on one card. An unmatched product is not published.
Sales infrastructure
Product, stock, price and orders are written per channel. When two channels sell the last unit, it is clear which stock it comes from.
A marketplace connection is not “the API key was saved”. The product code matches the channel, the price can differ by channel, and stock drops when the order lands. An unmatched barcode stays on the error list.
We do not connect every marketplace in the catalogue because they exist. The channel that already sells is connected. A new channel is added while the core stays.

Store price and channel price can differ. A discount does not spill onto every channel by accident.
A channel order becomes one record. Stock drops when that record closes.
Questions
Product, stock, price and orders are written per channel. When two channels sell the last unit, it is clear which stock it comes from. The screen list is not frozen before discovery. The first piece is “Product match”: Stock code, barcode and channel code sit on one card. An unmatched product is not published.
Marketplaces is built for: Brands selling on more than one marketplace, Teams losing orders to stock mismatches, Operations keeping channel prices in a spreadsheet.
Unmatched products do not vanish quietly. Channel price does not overwrite the store price. Stock is not fixed by hand after the order. A new channel does not force a rewrite.
